Independent study by Roland Berger shows trend towards fuel cell trucks being cost-competitive with diesel by 2030. However many barriers must be overcome, including storage.

The Verne co-founders, Ted, David, and Bav, founded Verne to develop innovative energy solutions.
Verne was initially focused developing a novel hydrogen technology platform. Verne was successful in this effort, signing contracts with global industrial leaders, securing patents, and completing first-of-kind commercial pilots.
However, just as demand for hydrogen stalled, demand for energy innovation from data centers became too large to ignore.
In 2025, Verne pivoted to focus on providing a turnkey power service to data centers. Verne is deploying energy infrastructure to meet the immediate energy needs of data centers and developing innovative technology solutions that increase the sustainability of firm, industrial power.
